It's a question of perspective. I might say that people who compare the industrial music of today with the high art of the greatest classical music composers are offensive.
Only someone who has never listened closely to popular songs and concertos/symphonies of the masters of classical music can do so dumb comparisions.
Only someone who doesn't understand the difference between music based on simplistic chord progressions and simplistic forms and music based on a much more rich and elaborated musical language and more elaborated forms can do so dumb comparisions.
Only someone who doesn't understand the difference in terms of technique between an opera singer and a fake singer who sings with an autotune can do so dumb comparisions.
Just because something is catchy doesn't mean that it's high musical art like the music of Mozart.
I think that Mozart would be more obnoxious than me if he was alive today and he would see how much we idolize musical hacks.-----------------
Qui aggiungo una cosa che lì non potevo mettere: questo video. Chissà perché queste cose succedono nella musica popolare e non nella musica classica.
Quella che vedete qui è una normale giornata di lavoro per i musicisti popolari di oggi.
Qui semplicemente vengono sgamati, ma le fanno sempre ste cose. L'intera industria della musica popolare si basa sulla circonvenzione di incapaci.
A 00:42 Justin Bieber che continua a cantare mentre vomita: qualcuno mi sa dire quanti soldi si è messo in tasca grazie alla circonvenzione di incapace? Quanti soldi girano in questo circo, per non dire associazione a delinquere tollerata dalla legge?
