Hello

There was an high voltage power network failure in our area that also affected our substation. UPS units took over but the backup generator did not start. We had inspected the generator just 2 weeks ago and it passed all the tests. The battery on the generator had quickly deteriorated in a way that is most uncommon. Experienced battery experts said that it was a really uncommon occurrence. At the moment we are finishing installing a second, parallel battery system to avoid similar problems in the future.

Most of the VPS-s booted up by themselves, but some were shut down and we assumed that these servers needed to be shut (shut down by a client for some reason).
